Affirming Leaders Day 2026 – November 7

Affirming Leaders Day is Affirming Connections’ annual professional development day for anyone doing 2SLGBTQIA+ advocacy in faith communities: faith leaders, organizers, volunteers, allies, and 2SLGBTQIA+ people themselves.
This year’s theme is practical tools for difficult times: engaging vulnerable people with real skill, being public and explicit about affirmation rather than only welcoming in principle, and organizing joy. Newcomers and seasoned advocates are both welcome.
Saturday, November 7, 8:30am to 2:30pm BC time (9:30am to 3:30pm in Alberta, 10:30am to 4:30pm Eastern), online.

- Engaging Vulnerable Persons, with Alpha House Calgary
